Belizean Home Cooked Meals

home-cooked meals are prepared with fresh ingredients.- cheese and ham egg omelette with Johnny cakes.

We offer our guests home cooked Dinner (with dessert) and Breakfast (with tea / coffee) as part of every guest's stay with us. These are served at the below times. Our delicious home-cooked meals are prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients and are served family style.

All guests are served the same meal from a fixed menu which changes daily. We welcome vegetarians, please let us know prior to your arrival, so we can prepare for you.

FULL BREAKFAST - served at 7:30 a.m., coffee / tea is ready at 6:30 daily

Example: coffee or Tea, fresh natural juice, fruit, scramble eggs, breakfast links, beans, and handmade flour tortillas.

LIGHT LUNCH - is available at an extra cost ($10US per person) and must be pre-ordered.

Light lunch consists of fruit, quesadilla or salbutes at an extra cost. usually served at noon.

DINNER - served at 6:30 p.m.

Example: Belizean rice and beans, chicken, baked plantain, and belizean dessert.

Cash Bar:

We have local beers, sodas, wine available in the dining room at an extra cost. Unlimited free purified drinking water available in dining room from our dispensers. Please bring your own reusable bottle. Please note plastic water bottles are not recycled in Belize.

Open Air Patio

The open air patio is an extension of our main building. Guest may request their breakfast on the patio while enjoying the wildlife / birdlife. Or, just enjoy chatting with other guests over a Belikin beer.

WIFI

We're all about being outdoors but if you need to connect with family, we offer complimentary wifi in the main building (Opens 6:30 a.m. Closes 9 p.m) and on the main patio 24 hours.

We believe that in order to better enjoy our natural setting, is why we consciously chose not to have wifi or TV in the cabins. We invite you to unplug and enjoy quality family time, read that book you always wanted to read, go forest bathing while looking and listening to the Howler Monkeys and other wildlife.

And when you get home, you can go on wifi and share your wonderful Belize Experience.

REFERENCE LIBRARY AND GAMES

There is a book self in a corner in the main building with lots of books for our guests to use. The reference library has archeological books, nature books, birding books, novels, storybooks, etc.

There is a shelf for a one for one book exchange applicable for novels ONLY.

We also have board/table games that our guests are welcome to use like monopoly, chess, scrabble, dominoes. and a dart board.

RIVER WATER SWIMMING-POOL

Our river water swimming pool is by design not your ordinary swimming pool. It is filled with river water and is treated and safe for guest enjoy during daylight hours. Our 18 feet by 30 feet River Water Swimming pool is four feet in depth --WE HAVE NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY, PLEASE SUPERVISE YOUNG CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.

24 HOUR A DAY ELECTRICITY

Electricity is 110 volts, 60 cycles supplied to us by the main grid. Please note that Belize does have black outs from time to time, so it is always a good idea to bring along a flash light when visiting Belize.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY WOODEN WALKWAY

An Elevated Wooden walkway connects the main building to all the cabins Howler Monkey Park . We built this with our guests and the environment in mind and it looks great!

GROUNDS AND JUNGLE TRAILS

Enjoy forest bathing and nature watching. The monkeys, birds, iguanas and other little critters will keep you amazed when they pass by. Don't worry, they are very shy. Wild creatures do not like to interact with humans. The monkeys will not come down for a candy bar or a banana nor sit on your porch.

PARKING LOT

Free Parking. During your stay with us, you are welcome to park your rental vehicle in our parking lot in front of the main building. Park at your own risk.
