MAIN BUILDING

The main building opens from 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

  
 
The air-conditioned dining room can seat up to 24 persons.  
MEALS

Guests with dinner / breakfast reservations are served the same meal from a fixed menu which changes daily. Our meals are prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients and served family style. We can cater to guests with either a vegetarian or regular diet, however we do try our best to facilitate guests with dietary restrictions such as gluten free and lactose intolerant when you let us know prior to your arrival.

We are sorry but we do not serve pizzas, hamburgers nor lunch.

Breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m. and Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.

Unlimited free purified drinking water available in dining room from our despensers. Bring your own reuseable bottle. Please note plastic water bottles are not recycled in Belize.

The honor bar has beers, sodas, and juices.

  
     
 
OPEN AIR PATIO

Open air patio is an extention of our main building. Several of our guests prefer to enjoy their meals on the patio while enjoying the fresh air. Others just enjoy chatting with other guests over a Belikin beer.

WIFI

Free wifi is available in the main building and patio from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.. Bring your laptop or smart phone. It is by design that there is no wifi, no TV in the cabins. Enjoy quality family time while looking and listening to the monkeys.

REFERENCE LIBRARY AND GAMES

There is a book self in a corner in the dining room with lots of books for our guests to use. The reference library has archeological books, nature books, birding books, novels, storybooks, etc.

We also have board/table games that our guests are welcome to use like monopoly, chess, scrabble, dominoes. and a dart board.

  RIVER WATER POOL  
  Our river water swimming pool is by design not your ordinary swimming pool. It is filled with Riverwater but, it is treated and safe for our guest use during daylight hours. Our 18 feet by 30 feet River Water Swimming pool has four feet in depth -- we have no life guard on duty.Therefore, children must be supervised at all times by an adult.  
     
  24 HOUR A DAY ELECTRICITY  
  Electricity is 110 volts, 60 cycles supplied to us by the main grid. Please note that Belize does have "black outs" from time to time, so it is always a good idea to bring along a flash light when visiting Belize.

WOODEN WALKWAY

Wooden walkway connects the open air patio with Ed and Mel's river water swimming pool and the cabins except with the Bamboo cabin and Treehouse cabin. We built this with our guests and the enviroment in mind and it looks great!

JUNGLE TRAIL

Our riverside grounds and trails has been called a sanctuary within a sanctuary. We have a jungle trail on our 20 acres for you to enjoy. The monkeys will keep you amazed every time they pass by. Don't worry, they are very timid creatures and do not interact with humans. So they will not come down for a candy bar or sit on your porch. The month of May you can enjoy seeing them feeding on the cashews; during the black berry season they have a feast.

PARKING LOT

You may park your rental vehicle in our parking lot infront of the main building free of charge during your stay.

  
     
  Most of our cabin are riverview and have have air condition for those hot days.   Walkway connects to your cabin and the swimming pool.
